NE4 and high-rise

In-building fiber for apartment complexes, offices and high-rise. We install the indoor cabling from basement to front door and activate the connections, so users are online right away.

NE4, network level 4, is the part of the fiber network inside the building. From the building entry in the basement or technical room, through shafts and risers, to the connection in every apartment or unit. High-rise calls for its own approach, with close coordination with the owner, homeowners association, housing corporation or property manager.

We take on the full scope, from survey and design to installation, splicing, measuring and activation. As a follow-up to our own FttX rollout, or as a standalone job for buildings where the outside plant is already in place.

Survey per building, routing through shafts and risers, distribution points and material list.

Building entry and distribution

Entry of the outside plant, placement and connection of the building distribution point.

Vertical cabling

Riser cables through shafts and risers, with floor distribution points where needed.

Horizontal cabling

From floor to apartment or unit, neatly finished in trunking or existing conduits.

Splicing and measurement

Splicing in distribution points and terminations, measurement per connection with report.

Activation

Patching, placing the termination and an end to end test, so the connection works right away.

Coordination with the owner

Planning, access and working method agreed with the property owner or manager, with one fixed point of contact during execution.

Frequently asked

Do you only do NE4, or also the outside plant?

Both. We build the outside plant as part of an FttX rollout, but also take on NE4 as a standalone job for buildings where the outside plant is already in place.

Who do you make arrangements with?

With the property owner, homeowners association or manager. We agree planning, building access and working method with one party, and we leave everything tidy.

What does activation involve?

After installation we patch the connection in the distribution point, place the termination in the apartment and test end to end. The connection is then ready for use.
